Shaun Clarke tries civil and criminal cases.
Most recently, he obtained “Not Guilty” verdicts in two federal criminal jury trials. In one, our client had been charged with insider trading and in the other our client was a BP employee charged with causing the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. He is presently on the trial team for a major pharmaceutical distributor in the Texas opioids multi-district litigation.
Described by Chambers USA as a “master in handling government investigations on behalf of a nationwide clientele,” Shaun is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in Commercial Litigation, White-Collar Defense and Criminal Defense. He has been named a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation and a Texas and Louisiana SuperLawyer. He has led defense teams in a broad range of civil and cases and has represented clients ranging from Fortune 10 companies to individual employees.
Shaun honed his trial skills as a San Francisco Deputy City Attorney and as an Assistant United States Attorney in New Orleans. He is admitted to the Bars of Texas and Louisiana and regularly speaks on issues related to trial tactics, white-collar and environmental crime, and corporate investigations.
