Sebastien is a founding partner of the firm. He focuses his practice on litigation, commercial law and securities.

Sebastien acts for major financial institutions, including securities brokers and advisors, insurers and insurance brokers, whom he represents before civil and regulatory tribunals. He also represents public utilities and multinational corporations. His clients include the Fédération des Caisses Desjardins (the largest cooperative financial group in Canada), California State Teachers’ Retirement System (the largest teachers’ retirement fund in the United States), AON Canada Inc. (a member of AON plc, listed as NYSE:AON, a leader in risk management, insurance brokerage and human resources management) and Hydro-Quebec (a public utility that generates, transmits and distributes electricity).

Sebastien is involved in numerous large class actions and is the former Chair of the Class Actions section of the Canadian Bar Association, Quebec Branch.

Sebastien appears at all levels of Court and in administrative tribunals. He is regularly invited to speak, and he has taught students from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal taking part in the Pierre-Basile-Mignault Moot Court Competition. His expertise has been recognized by Chambers Benchmark Canada and Lexpert directories.
