Mark Polley is a founding and managing partner of Polley Faith LLP.


Specializing in complex commercial litigation, Mark is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Litigation Counsel of America. He is an experienced trial lawyer and has acted in many cases involving a wide variety of areas of law including corporate commercial, securities, professional liability, competition, libel, insolvency and white collar crime. He appears regularly before courts and regulatory tribunals in high stakes matters.


Mark previously practiced for 6 years in the litigation group of litigation group of McCarthy Tétrault. From 2006 to 2010, he acted as an Assistant Crown Attorney with the Criminal Law Division, conducting hundreds of trials including white collar fraud, cyber, firearms and murder cases. 


Mark is one of Toronto’s leading litigation lawyers, and has received numerous recognitions over his career including being named Litigation Star by Benchmark Canada and listing in Best Lawyers in Canada and Chambers Global Canada. Mark teaches as a guest instructor at the Osgoode Hall Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop, and is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, the Advocates’ Society, the Toronto Lawyers’ Association and the International Association of Defense Counsel.
