His crisis management experience ranges from his role in the ’90s as one of the lead lawyers heading up the defense of Merrill Lynch in the multi-billion dollar litigation following Orange County’s bankruptcy, to serving as lead national counsel for both Wells Fargo and BofA in managing hundreds of billions of dollars in mortgage-based exposure throughout the credit crisis. A very significant portion of his work has occurred outside of the litigation process and beyond the public eye.

Representative clients have included BofA (and Merrill Lynch), Wells Fargo (and Wachovia), UBS (and PaineWebber), Citigroup, Western Asset Management, Brown Brothers Harriman, Coca-Cola, E*Trade, and Northrop Grumman.
