Mr. Hu Ke is a partner in our dispute resolution group, specializing in litigation and arbitration (in commercial and IP-related matters), cyber-security and data protection.

Mr. Hu regularly represents domestic and international clients in 100+ court proceedings in China and arbitration proceedings under CIETAC, BAC, HKIAC, ICC, SIAC, SCC, CAS and UNCITRAL rules. His experience covers disputes in relation to general commercial contracts, corporate and JV matters, PE/VC investment, energy, aviation, entertainment and culture, technology licensing, IP protection, and recognition and enforcement of oversea arbitral awards and court judgments.

He is recognized by Who’s Who Legal as a “Future Leader” in arbitration from 2018 and a national leader in 2021, by Chambers Asia Pacific as an “up-and-coming” practitioner in arbitration from 2019 and Bank 4 in 2022.

In 2021 Mr. Hu obtained a landslide win for a Chinese manufacturing business in a 24m Euro dispute before the ICC, as lead counsel for a China-Austria joint team; he also represented a leading aircraft lessor in China in securing a USD 28m award against an airline company in a dispute involving the lease of three Boeing aircrafts; he also obtained a decisive victory for CR Medical before the High Court of Beijing in a key dispute concerning the “invest-operate-transfer” business mode; he was also part of the legal team that represented Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva in securing her appearance at the rink of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
