Jennifer Pafiti, a dually qualified U.K. solicitor and U.S. attorney, is a preeminent player in global securities fraud litigation. She is the Firm’s Head of Client Services and takes an active role in complex securities litigation, representing clients in both class and non-class actions. 


Jennifer played a leading role in the litigation of In re Petrobras Sec. Litig., a case relating to a multi-billion-dollar kickback and bribery scheme at Brazil’s largest oil company, Petróleo Brasileiro S.A.- Petrobras, in which the Firm was sole Lead Counsel. Working closely with Lead Plaintiff, the U.K.-based Universities Superannuation Scheme Limited, she was instrumental in achieving the historic settlement of $3 billion for defrauded Petrobras investors. 


Jennifer spearheads the Firm’s PomTrack® Portfolio Monitoring Service, a proprietary system with which Pomerantz monitors over $6.8 trillion of its global clients’ assets utilizing state-of-the-art technology and a team of attorneys, forensic economists, damages analysts, paralegals, and professional staff. Jennifer heads the Firm’s institutional investor educational initiatives, organizing conferences around the world. A role model to other women and a champion of women’s rights, Jennifer organized a Corporate Governance and Securities Litigation Roundtable Event in New York in 2018 on the theme of women and minorities who have risen through the ranks and have pioneered the path for change and unity in our communities. The guest speaker at the next Roundtable Event that Jennifer is organizing will be President Bill Clinton. Guest speakers at other Pomerantz events Jennifer has organized include members of the British House of Lords and the former Mayor of London and current Prime Minister, Boris Johnson. Jennifer herself is a regular speaker at events on securities litigation and fiduciary duty. 


Jennifer served on the Honorary Steering Committee of Equal Rights Advocates, which focuses on specific issues that women face in the legal profession. ERA is an organization that protects and expands economic and educational access and opportunities for women and girls. 


Prior to studying law, Jennifer was a regulated financial advisor and senior mortgage underwriter. She earned her law degrees at Thames Valley University (G.D.L.) and the Inns of Court School of Law (L.P.C.) in the U.K. 


In 2021, Jennifer was selected as a “Women, Influence and Power in Law” honoree by Corporate Counsel, in the Collaborative Leadership – Law Firm category. Lawdragon has named Jennifer among the 2021 Leading 500 Lawyers in the United States, as well as a Leading Plaintiff Financial Attorney from 2019 through 2021. In 2019, she was also honored by Super Lawyers® as a Southern California Rising Star in Securities Litigation.
